"I am strong.  I am smart.  I am brave.  I am beautiful."

That is the statement I ask my 8-year old daughter to say to me every morning to remind her of a few of her important gifts.  I have also repeated that same statement to her, to boost her confidence when she is fearful. 

My own personal declaration is 19 sentences. In addition to stating it aloud each morning, I read a chapter from Joel Osteen's book, I Declare, and read that daily declaration aloud, too.

Whether you call them affirmation statements, mantras, declarations, or something else, saying a positive statement out loud every day makes it real, believable, and achievable.
